“Have you ever tried shawarma?”

Well, if you didn’t, perhaps it’s the time for you to check out the meal Iron Man suggested in “The Avengers” movie. It is incredible how much influence a movie can have on the audience.

Honestly, before “The Avengers” I haven’t heard about shawarma, haven’t seen it in any restaurant menu. I don’t know even what it is, how it looks like. Well, actually, now I know, for I checked it up for you. But, I didn’t know until yesterday. So, what can I say? It is made by alternately stacking strips of fat and pieces of seasoned meat (beef, lamb or marinated chicken) on a stick—an onion or tomato is sometimes placed at the top of the stack for additional flavoring. A variety of vegetables come with the shawarma which include: cucumber, onion, tomato, lettuce, eggplant and cabbage.

I liked it, for it’s very similar to gyros, which I really like. And also, if Downey Jr. said it’s good, you can be sure it is.

Since I watched “The Avengers” only 24 hours ago, I’m still under a lots of impressions. It is so very exciting, with a lot of action and a good humor. Honestly, I do like movies with superheroes, such as “Spider-Man”, or a “Catwoman”, but this is the first one where I have seen an actual group of superheroes working together. It was so very interesting, for it’s almost if you would take all the best football players in the world and make a team of it. At the begining, they wouldn’t be able to work with each other, for they’re used to be “the main man”, so they would have to evolve so that they can use the best of each one.

Back to the topic of our site, which means-food. What do our most favourite like to eat the most? What do they like to see in their restaurant menus? Shouldn’t Spider-Man’s favourite food be some made of insects? Or shouldn’t Catwoman drink only milk and water? Thor is a God, and considering the food eaten in Valhalla, his favourite should be mead and pork. Ironman and Batman are completely normal humans, so their favourite could be anything, even pizza…

Considering your favourite meal, what superhero would you be? I have no idea, for even though I have a moments when I drink a lot of milk all of the sudden, I also drink a lot of juice, and I’m sure that cats wouldn’t drink that.
