Horror restaurant
It is a dark night. Heavy rain is hitting the windows next to you. Few candles are illuminating the space around you. There is a person with you sharing that mystic moment. All of the sudden, you see the shadow, very fast shadow. Scream!
And that would be the end of the dinner that was supposed to be very romantic. One tiny insect can ruin it all. Nobody want to see the insect on a table unless it’s because it’s some sort of dish from Africa, or some other continent. Of course, in such case you would see it for the first time in a restaurant menu, and wouldn’t be so suprised when you see it for the first time. But, in this case, there is no other solution for the manager but to call… Insect control! No matter if they fly or just walk they will get cought by the nets of the super special team of spiders. Wait, no. I’m a little bit wrong. But, only a little. You see, while we call a humans to go on a mission with their poisons, in the nature enviroment, we would have spiders to get rid of the bunch of insects.
Of course, the idea of having spiders in a restaurant also seem to be a little bit scary, for in such case our restaurant would be very similar to Dracula’s castle. I’m sure that guests would be also expecting to see a bats.

As the San Marino’s song that qualified for ESC 2012 says, everybody loves this social network. So many news we find there, over it we can stay in touch with our friends when they go on vacation or a business trip. We get to know better people we rarely see, through their music selection, or happy events in their life.
As we are here for the food topics, we should mantion how on facebook you can find a lot of pages for a recipes, or about a cakes, chocolate. Also, most of restaurants or delivery services have their page on this network. It is very good choice for them, because it’s free to join, and is easy to use. Also, with so many apps, they can make presentation very nice and easy. Not to mantion, this new restaurant menu app that facebook offers. It’s called “My Menu” and it’s a facebook restaurant menu app. By using it, you can easily add you bar or restaurant menu to your facebook page. You don’t need any programming skills for this.
I’m sure you’ll find this app to be very useful. If you have a restaurant but not the facebook page, I’d recommend to make it as soon as possible, for, when travellers are on their way, when they are well prepared they like to have all the informations about the places they are about to visit.
Birds that don’t fly
Yeah, our topic is very interesting, and considering the fact that I’m not talking about the penguins, you can consider it for a little bit morbid. I’m talking about a meals made of some birds. Please, do not consider me for a psycho, honestly, I just didn’t know how else to name this.
How many times in a restaurant menu you found a meal named something like “Peking Duck”? It doesn’t mean that some duck comes from China, only to be eaten here, it just means that original recipe comes from Peking. In all corners of the world birds are used for food. Pheasant is very popular in the kitchen, but is rare to see, because it’s a protected one. Finches were used in a dishes not so long ago, it’s hard to find them today. It is unusual how people think how it’s disgusting to eat that small, sweet birds, but, then again, they eat chicken almost every day. Does it mean that it’s beauty that choses who will stay alive? It sounds too scary…
Anyway, what can I say for the end unless this: birds are very healthy, with lot of proteins and “good” oil. We should keep dishes made of them in our kitchens.

The team has prepared some default internet presentations where you’re only suposed to enter the informations. It’s not heavy at all, you don’t need some programing knowledge to make this great.
Taste of Europe
In a several posts in the begining I’ve been writting about food and cuisine in some countries. However, this is very special time of the year, and all of us who loves music know what I’m talking about. It’s the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. It finally ended, and we have the victorious one: it’s Sweden, with their Loreen and the song “Euphoria”!
In the final night of this lovely show we had 26 songs to hear. I’d like to make a comparison here with my favourite topic: food. The moment the voting started was pretty much like the one when waiter come and ask for your order. That’s how it always is. Even if you like more then one meal, you can afford only one, not to mantion that your stomach probably wouldn’t be able to stand more then one. But, it doesn’t mean you don’t consider some other for tasty one too, besides the one you choose. But, you have to choose only one, just like when you’re chacking out the restaurant menu, and there is high possibility that you’ll be sorry for you didn’t make another choice. If you’re in the group, there is also a possibility that you’ll just take what everyone else is having. And, you will enjoy it in that moment, but after a while you will perhaps discover something you haven’t paid attention back then, and you’ll be sorry for you let it pass.
Well, don’t be sorry, be happy, for if there is something I can say for sure it’s this: Sweden is a very strong and full of stability, so whatever goes wild and crazy in the rest of the world we can be sure that they will be a wonderful hosts next year. I already feel a lot of euphoria, don’t you?
ESC 2012
Hello, there! I know, I’m probably jumping a little bit away from my usual topics, which includes restaurant menus, restaurant software, food and all, but, these few days are passing with a specialities cooked in Azerbaijan. I’m not talking about their exotic cuisine, but about Eurovision song contest.
Semi finals have already passed, there is only the final that’s left. Just like every other year, there is a lot of wonderful songs introduced to us, there is a lot of tears dropped for those who hadn’t entered the final. I must say, I’m number one person who is not very happy with the list of songs that entered the final, but I do understand that not all of as have the same music taste. After all, since there is so much differences in food taste, why would it be any lesser when it comes to music. It’s actually pretty much the same: in order to bring a new taste, the one that will unite everything we ever know, we do the experiments, sometimes those are very bad, and sometimes those make a perfect combination. The same is with the music, especially on this contest where we meet a lot of nations, all unique in their own way.

These modern days…
Do you ever have a feel that we went too far with all the technology? It is almost sad when you see how it’s easier to people to communicate over the internet then face-to-face. Also, when I see how some friends of my buy a dress over the net, without knowing is the size right, or how it will look on them…why, why people do that?
Some say that they’re too busy and that they don’t have time to bother with trying a bunch of dresses, some other say:”this one is both cute and not too expencieve, when will I find one like that?” I find it very strange, the more we try to keep our time, the more we are wasting it. For, the moment you see that the dress doesn’t look so nice as you expected, you go out to buy a new one. Why you haven’t done it in a first place…? Or, when you order a fast food, you rarely go to the place where you can’t call them and say what would you like to order, because you don’t want to wait. Which is pretty bad, for it doesn’t mean that food there isn’t better. I must say that in that case I don’t see the point of the restaurant menu, in cases when people do the reservation. If I’m about to take a table, I would call them and tell them what I want to be prepared when I enter the car. So that I don’t have to wait. People don’t think about such things… Or perhaps those are the rare moments when they want to forget how time is running wild.
People, time isn’t running like crazy. It’s the same as it always was. It is our nature that makes as look at it with fear, fear of what, I just don’t know? Is it the fact that everyone want to stay young and beautifull, would they feel older if they wouldn’t be running around? Or less alive?
Back in time
Very soon we’ll get the chance to enjoy the new “Men in black” movie. The third part is called “Back in time”. As you can already guess, they’ll go back in time so that they can save the future. But, that’s not what I want to talk about.
I want to give you a small history lesson. You see, centuries ago, people didn’t had a restaurants like the ones we have today. There was no restaurant menu, no special decoration, not even the regular band playing in a room. They called “inns”, “taverns”, “alehouses”. In alehouses mostly you were able to get a cup of ale, or some other alcohol. In taverns you could get alcohol, milk, and food, of course, all homemade. In inns, besides food and beverage, you could get a place to sleep. There were no regular bands playing the music, but a travelling musicians, called “bards”. In a way, it all sounds very romantic, but those times were also a dark ones, people believed in a ghosts and many other supernatural beings. It is not easy to sleep in a bed when you expect a vampire to show up.
However, it is nice when in this, modern age, you can find an inn that gives it best to keep alive the atmosphere that existed so long ago.
Spice world
Hello, my dear friends! You know that whenever you enter this site you can find a lot of articles about restaurants, restaurant software, food, and of course, restaurant menu. But, today I want to change it a little, and I hope you’ll forgive me, for I need to make a little refreshment. Let’s take a look back in time when we had a lot of popular disco groups, and among them one that we can consider for very spicy and with a lot of girls.
Spice Girls started at 1994. The group comprised Victoria Beckham (née Adams), Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell. Their hit “Wannabe” helped to establish a group as a global phenomenon. Very soon they become the most popular and well-paid female group. They made a movie “Spice World” so that they can more represent themselves to the public, and it was very succesfull too. Everyone called them by their nicknames, Scary, Baby, Ginger, Posh and Sporty. The group has it’s ups and downs, but it is the fact that some of their hits still lives. Such as “Viva forever”. It has sense, right?
Girls had a reunion concert in 2008. Also, rumors are running wild about how they will or not reunite for the Olympic games in London 2012. What will be only time will tell. We hope for the positive result.
