You know when you travel a long way, come to a hotel very late, and all you want is to go to sleep? And, when you wake up, you are still not quite yourselves? I must say, it happens to me always every time when I travel a long distance. At the morning I’m almost like a zombie. Can’t focus, can’t think fast, until I have my breakfast. But, the problem is, if waiter expects me to tell him what to bring me, he will wait a long time. Therefore, I’m very happy each time when I go to a breakfast and see…a Swedish table.

Seriously, there is always a lot of tasty food served, you can just take what you want, sometimes even automatically(like me), without checking the restaurant menu, whose words you barely see. There is always a juice, a coffee, a complete refreshment. Of course, something like this I prefer only for the breakfast. I don’t think it’s good idea to have food served that way for lunch, celebrations and so on. The meals you eat for the lunch are usually supposed to be warm, and also, when there’s a lot of people around, I really don’t like the idea of everyone grabbing the same spoons for salads, meat… How can I know if everyone washed their hands?

So many great things comes from Sweden. Cosmetics, food, ideas… I think I’ll just have to visit them one of this days.

I have a feeling… that very soon, I’ll have to make an important choice. Future will depend on it. Following the “butterfly effect”, maybe the fate of the world is going to depend on it. Message is coming to me, and it comes right from my stomach. Yeah, I’m hungry.

Of course, such things like hunger, thirst, needing the sleep, we can feel, for our physical body sends as a messages of what it need. But, how many times you truly needed a help from the universe, and received it? I can say that some cosmic intelligence helped me many times in my life, perhaps not directly, but still, with good result at the end. At those moments, when you need some outside assistance, it is the best to focus and follow the signs that are sent for you. Some people have very developed sense for such situations. For those people we say that are gifted with sixth sense. Everyone has some level of this abilities, perhaps not too high, but whenever we use our intuition it’s nothing but a sense that is not physical as our other five senses.

But, there is also some other shape of sixth sense. It’s the “Sixth Sense Cafe” restaurant software. It doesn’t mean that a waiter will be able to read your mind and bring you whatever you wish for at the moment, but it’s as close as possible to it.

As I’ve already said, autumn is coming! And we know what it means. A lot of season vegetables, preparing for the winter, and of course, a lot of grapes. Doesn’t mind if you prefer white over red, very soon many of them will be turned into a good, but still young, wine.

It is rather unusual. Wine is probably the only thing that truly becomes better with the age. But, I still prefer the youngest version of wine, which means fresh grapes. I don’t like wine. Sometimes I think it’s a very wrong way to use something as tasty as grapes. Fresh grapes are full of vitamins, and you wont lose your mind if you eat it too much. But, who asks me…? I must say, grapes are one of the fruits I’d like to see in my fruit salad when I order it in a cafe. Unfortunately, usually it’s not there. That’s why I’m always nervous when there is not a description of a fruit salad i n a restaurant menu.

Thank God the grapes is in a fine shape right now, otherwise I’d be just like a fox with the grapes from the story. It’s not green, it’s perfect, and it’s a season for all of us to enjoy it.

I must say, it is always a pleasure to find someone interested in the same topics as you are. It is a relief, when you realise that there are people like you. You know that feeling when you were a teenager, and went crazy about some actor/singer most of the people don’t even know about?

Some people might say that it’s too much energy wasted on some stupid events, but, it’s not true. During these vacation season many of us went to a high mountain tops, many others went to a sea, lakes…And, some others decided to have a fun away from the shores. Some of my friends took that route, having fun on the cruise, that made many of us started thinking about the same plans for next summer.

I’m not sure if that would be a good choice for someone like me, considering the fact that my swimming skills are far from good. But, on the other hand, if something horrible happens, I’m not sure how much swimming would help me in the open sea. Someone might just say how I allow fear to hold back my life, but, let us do not forget: when people are too arrogant and sure that they’re unbreakable, something very bad happens. Also, how can I know if I wouldn’t suffer from the sea sickness? What if some person with a virus ends up on a boat…? OK, I know, now I’ve just been paranoid.

I should focus on some nice things about this kind of journey. Well, enjoyment depends mostly on a luxury of the trip, of course. Some of the best boats have a lot of pools, restaurants, shops, cinema and theatre. Medical assistance is required, and a lot of food has to be prepared for a many days spent away from the shore. Water too.What my friend liked the most is the variety of the restaurants with the food from each corner of the world with famous native meals in restaurant menus. And, of course, the beauty of the open sea.

These days the temperature was so high, that it was very hard to do anything, it was almost hard to live if I may say that. So, what do we do in such days? Mostly just seat in our homes enjoying the refreshment of the air-condition. Until it stops working. Or, until some of the friends tells us that we have to go out, because “we are not old people”. Whatever that is supposed to mean.

And so we go to a beach, to a pool, or just walking down the streets hoping to find some nice caffe to refresh. During these time of the year, tea or a hot chocolate won’t be exactly the thing you would search for in the restaurant menu. No, there are ice teas, juices, cocktails and anything else that can be served cold, very cold. We usually do not pay attention to a ice in our drinks, so I’ll use this opportunity to tell you some interesting ice variations you can see. You know that most of the bars use simple ice cubes for their drinks? But, did you know that Virgin Atlantic has released a cool impersonation of the company’s owner, Sir Richard Branson? In order to celebrate the airline’s new in-flight bar, the company has decided to create custom ice cubes in the shape of Branson’s head. Creepy, but also cool in both ways.

In previous article I was all like: “No smoking, please!” But, I have to admit there are some thing considered smoke that I approve. Smoked fish, or cheese is always good, but now there is also a smoked ice, but more about it you can find out here: /2011/04/hickory-smoked-ice-smoke-signals.html.

There are many things that can hurt our health, and yet are very popular. Sweets with too much chemistry and sugar, the drinks with too much CO2, and also, sitting for a long time in front of the computer or a TV. But, it seems that those things are very popular and doesn’t seem to quit very soon. One of those is also smoking.

I don’t know why would anyone liked cigars. They are smelly, leave a disgusting taste in mouth, and also are very bad for a lungs and blood stream. Recently, there have been made a lot of cigars with flavors. But, even if the taste lasts while consuming the cigar, it doesn’t last for long in mouths. I must say, I’m very happy that in almost every restaurant there is a area for non smokers, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my choice from a restaurant menu.

And, that’s one of the many good reasons, why it’s better to go out with our friends, instead of visiting each others at home. For, you’re not a good host if you don’t let them light a cigar, but, if you let them, a smoke will remain even after they’re gone.

People these days enters the relationships and physical contact a way too easy, if you ask me. I see couples kissing each other, whenever they are, whatever the time it is, no matter is it romantic situation or not. And, to make it all worse, I see them finding each others in the clubs, having a “time together” for only one night. Why? Is it possible that everyone has forgotten the magic of the kiss? Or, does it vanishes, after so many years?

When I was a little girl, my mother told me a stories about princesses and princes, the magical first kiss and living happily ever after. Most of the people think I’m old-fashioned, or a little bit too romantic. Honestly, I don’t care what the truth is, all I know is that what I want more then anything on the world is to find my prince, my “true love”. It makes me very sad to see girls these days, most of them, interested more in man’s wallets and their cars, rather than their sense for feelings, duty and loyalty to a person of their life. Why is that so? What influence made such killing of the romance?

Some people say:”How can you be with only one person for whole life? It’s impossible!” Why is it impossible? We think we are superior over animals, but, there is a lot of animals who remain devoted to only one partner for whole life. If animals can control themselves, why can’t we?

Perhaps a lot of actors and singers influenced the young people with their short marriages? But, as my parents told me a long time ago:”It is a curse to be famous. Yes, you have a money, you can travel, have fun, but those are rare moments, for all those people want to remain in the game as long as possible. For that, they have to sacrifice something, and unfortunately, it’s usually a family life.”

I don’t know, perhaps we shall prey for some sort of superhero that will defend the last dust of romance, the last atom of true love. Until then, I’ll try to lead everyone away from those fake kisses to a the other one: “Kiss on the Lips”. It is a cocktail, that can be prepared in a numerous ways, so better check out what stands for it in your restaurant menu before ordering.

“Have you ever tried shawarma?”

Well, if you didn’t, perhaps it’s the time for you to check out the meal Iron Man suggested in “The Avengers” movie. It is incredible how much influence a movie can have on the audience.

Honestly, before “The Avengers” I haven’t heard about shawarma, haven’t seen it in any restaurant menu. I don’t know even what it is, how it looks like. Well, actually, now I know, for I checked it up for you. But, I didn’t know until yesterday. So, what can I say? It is made by alternately stacking strips of fat and pieces of seasoned meat (beef, lamb or marinated chicken) on a stick—an onion or tomato is sometimes placed at the top of the stack for additional flavoring. A variety of vegetables come with the shawarma which include: cucumber, onion, tomato, lettuce, eggplant and cabbage.

I liked it, for it’s very similar to gyros, which I really like. And also, if Downey Jr. said it’s good, you can be sure it is.

In previous months prices have started to jump like crazy. In this very moment I’m not concerned about a prices of the traffic, nor the electricity, but the price of the food, and especially the price of the meat.

Vegetarian people can say whatever they want, but I LOVE meat. I need it, it gives me a lot more energy then vegetables and it’s so, so tasty. Meat prices already began to rise before the drought really settled in this summer. The price tag on sirloin steak jumped more than 15% from June 2011 to June 2012, according to the BLS. The price of ground beef rose more than 8% and chicken prices jumped more than 6% during the same period. The supply of beef hasn’t really dropped yet, so consumers should expect the prices at grocery stores to rise more over the long term. This is going to affect a budget of every family for sure, that some of my friends started to wonder: “Is it a good idea to live in a village, and have your own food produced?”

I hope that in order to keep prices as low as possible, nobody will try to sell a unhealthy animals. There is a lot of regulations and tests that shouldn’t be able to trick anyone, but still, in this crazy year, who knows whats possible?
